SpaRitual Hand Made and Eye For Detail swatches, comparisons and thoughts.

Today I have swatches and comparisons of two new polishes from SpaRitual's most recent collection, Pause.  The two polishes I am reviewing are a glitter and a shimmer.  My first thoughts were that I may have some dupes so I have included a comparison photo.

SpaRitual offer ecofriendly products, this includes using recycled glass in their bottles. The ingredients used are vegan friendly. Anyone who has read my blog for a while will know how much I love THAT BRUSH! The grippy handle takes all the efrt out of painting your nails. The polishes are high quality and wear really well, I especially like their creme finishes.

Firstly Hand Made, a coppery brown glitter polish, micro glitters of gold and red combine in this shimmery polish to create an overall brown shade. The suspension base is ever so slightly tinted.

Girly Bits What Happens in Vegas Ends Up On Snapchat swatches and comparison.

Today I am posting a swatch and comparison post.  Unfortunately this polish is retired - it was only available for pre-orders 28th August to 31st August.  It may still be something to look out for on nail sales pages, but it can no longer be purchased directly.

This lilac holo is gorgeous!  A normal holo base with larger holo chunks throughout.  I should have filmed a video of this in motion!

Ubermat stamping mat

Purchased by Me some products previously provided as Press Sample

Today I thought I would share my first attempts and thoughts about my Ubermat!  I purchased this myself after seeing so many blog posts about them. I bought mine from Girly Bits at the same time that I ordered the limited edition What Happens in Vegas polish.  It arrived in less than a week from Canada to the UK, although it did take some time from order to despatch as the limited edition was a pre-order over the August bank holiday.  I later discovered that UK retailer She Sells Sea Shells started selling them, so that's great news for UK based nail addicts, as I kept worrying that Royal Mail might destroy the package on it's way into the UK.

Phone spam and kitty spam

Today I'm sharing some phone spam - I am about to change my phone so may not transfer them all over!  I have a few things that have been photographed quickly and never took "proper" photos to share.

This stamping was a subtle combo and it looked great...

Colors By Llarowe PDQ top coat review, wear time and thoughts.

I was recently browsing a nail polish sale page on Facebook and noticed someone was selling PDQ top coat by Llarowe. I have been using INM Out the Door, I am towards the end of my second bottle now and it is just starting to thicken. I have been pretty happy with INM but am always open to trying a new top coat, especially as INM smudges nail art. So I bought it and tried it. To test it out, I went for a skittlette with studs, glitter, stamping and dots to see how it worked with each of these elements.

Hand and nail care faves, sending my skin to bootcamp

I have recently mentioned how my hands have been through the wringer, having nail lifting issues and skin troubles.  Today's post is about yet another flare up I have had and how I sent my hands to bootcamp! My skin was in a horrible itchy, aggravated cycle in late August, cause undetermined but most likely relating to the prolonged wear of MNP, as I hadn't heard of their base issues at this point and was wearing it for up to five days at a time.  I needed to try and calm it to avoid another four or five months of misery and this post is to share my favourites which have pretty quickly calmed my skin.

Wear test

More photos from June!

Jessie of Nailed It NZ hasn't been so active on her blog of late (or at least, not that Feedly has pulled for me to read) but she does regularly post videos on her You Tube account, back when I did these nails that was a newly uploaded video!  I'll share the video at the end of this post.

I followed Jessie's guide to making your nail polish last longer.  The first photo is a just done picture, note the tip of my thumb nail is slightly worn already as I must have caught it without knowing.

Periwinkle and Cream

These photos are some I took ages ago on my phone.  Based on the photo properties it tells me I wore these in June!!  I remember it being one of those rare sunny days, given we haven't really had a summer this year - good old British weather!

Neon Textures

These are some rubbish phone photos I took a while ago, I was wearing this the day hubby had an MRI scan so I can roughly pinpoint the date to being in June (!)
